Delete Your Tilder Account
You can permanently delete your Tilder account and its associated data directly from the app, at any time, without needing to contact support.
How to delete your account (in the app)
- Open Tilder and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Choose one of two options:
- Delayed deletion (30 days) — your account is locked immediately (you can't log in), but you have 30 days to change your mind and restore it from the same screen.
- Delete immediately — your account is permanently deleted right away and cannot be restored.
What gets deleted
Once deletion completes — immediately, or automatically at the end of the 30-day window — the following are permanently removed:
• Your account and login credentials
• Your profile (name, email, avatar, language settings)
• Your lesson progress, test results, streaks, and medals
• Your saved words, phrases, and dictionary bookmarks
• Files you've shared with support
Your email address is freed for reuse once deletion completes.
What is retained
A small number of records are kept for financial and support record-keeping, with your account link removed rather than the record itself:
• Billing and gift-code redemption records are kept in de-identified form (no longer linked to your account) for accounting purposes.
• Past support tickets you filed may be kept with the account link removed; any files attached to them are deleted.

Timing
Immediate deletion removes your account right away. Delayed deletion locks your account immediately and completes the permanent removal automatically once the 30-day window ends (checked once daily, so completion may take up to ~24 hours after the window closes).
